When choosing a sunscreen, it is important to look for a broad-spectrum sunscreen that protects against both UVA and UVB rays. It should also have an SPF of at least 30 and be water-resistant if you plan to swim or sweat.

 It is recommended to apply sunscreen 15 minutes before going outside and reapply every two hours or after swimming or sweating.
